Jerlean S Noble is the visionary and President of the Columbia Writers Alliance. She is a 30-year retiree of the Department of Psychology at the University of South Carolina. She is a published author with 5 published books, 3 of which are in the Richland County Library. Originally from Greenville, SC, she has made Columbia her home for the last 45 years.
She is an entrepreneur now with three companies. JS Noble Books, For Your Namesake Productions, and Columbia Writers Alliance.
She loves teaching, sharing, and believing in the gifts of others. She believes in promoting, networking, and lifting the spirits of others through literature. Of the five books she's written, "Big Mama and Me" is still her favorite. She was selected as a contributing editor in the Writer's Net; Anthology of Prose, Vol. 1, edited by Gary D. Kessler, and lately published as a contributing author in the anthology, Poets Respond to Race, edited by Al Black and Dr. Len Lawson. Her latest novel is Benson's Bloodline to Freedom's Trail, published in 2021.
